URL (Uniform Resource Locator)



URL (Uniform Resource Locator) – an HTTP address used within the World Wide Web to identify the location of a web page on the Internet. A URL is mapped to an IP address by Domain Name Servers (DNS).

Example: http://www.niceguyseo.com/index.htm
