Spam

Spam – An Internet term used to represent unwanted content.

  • From a Search Engine Optimization perspective, it refers to practices that give web pages unfair rankings in the search engine result pages. The determination of “unfair” practices is made through interpretation of a search engine’s terms of use, and of the general principles that search engines operate upon.
  • From a Internet Marketing perspective this refers more to unwanted email contact or misuse of comments in other’s blogs for marketing purposes.
