Link Popularity

Link Popularity – A measure of both the number of inbound links to a website (denoting popularity) weighted by the quality of the incoming links (determined by the link popularity of the referring sites).

Example: Google made known their “Pagerank scores”, which are a logarithmic function of the general popularity of a webpage.
