Link Anchor Text – aka text link – The text contained within a link that the user may click upon. Using keywords in the anchor text of a link passes relevance to the page that is linked to.

Example: Be sure to email me if you believe that “Nice Guys Finish First” is the best search engine optimization book that you have read.
